Food Bank
A Food Bank is run in partnership with the Romsey Food Bank, from the Community Life Centre in the precinct. If you have received a red voucher from your Social Worker, Health Visitor, school or other support organisation, this can be exchanged for essential food items from 10.00am until 12.00 on Fridays.
In view of the current difficult situation many families are experiencing. If you do not have a red voucher, but are finding it difficult to feed your family, please call Romsey Food Bank on 01794 450451 or 07761405870.
We are also holding a donations session on Tuesday afternoon from 13.00 until 15.00. Please note this session is for DONATIONS ONLY. The volunteers at this session are not able to provide food relief.
If you wish to make a donation, please bring your items along with a note of your name and the organisation you represent, or your e-mail address, if it is an individual donation as the Food Bank likes to thank donors. Items we are particularly in need of at the moment are Longlife (UHT) milk, Longlife fruit juice, instant mashed potato, tins of spaghettl, tinned tomatoes, tinned meats eg meatballs, spam, stewed steak, minced beef, chicken curry, and corned beef etc, sweet treats/chocolate, washing powder, size 6 nappies.

Slimming World
To all my North Baddesley & Woodley Members and future members, though we closed our doors to avoid further virus spread, we have managed in the last two weeks to reinvent ourselves in the virtual world, so not only do you continue to get the support and help in your weight loss journey, you can still see your fellow friends and support network.
Whether you are a past, present or future member, please contact me Jo Jackson for support and guidance through the structure of Slimming World to guide you in losing weight. Mobile 07671412728 or Facebook Slimming World with Jo Jackson for further information.
Wishing you well and to stay safe.
Love Jo
Tai Chi
Weekly meetings are normally held every Wednesday from 15.15 – 16.15 in the Village Hall. Whilst we are not able to meet, I have downloaded two videos onto the Wessex Cancer Trusts web site, so that my students have something to practise during the shut down. It is my intention to also put the same videos on my web site. I hope everyone stays safe and at home as much as is practical.

Tots and Toddlers
For anyone who doesn’t know about this group, we normally meet at the Community Life Centre in the precinct every Tuesday during term time at 9.15, for half an hour of songs, rhymes and a story aimed at pre-schoolers with a parent or carer. We include a little bit of baby signing and finish up with refreshments and a bit of free play. During the current situation, obviously we can’t meet physically, so we have started a WhatsApp group to keep in touch with one another and we held our first ‘virtual’ group using Zoom on March 31st at 10.00am. If anyone would like to join the virtual sessions which we plan to continue every week, please contact Rosie by e-mail at info.communitylifecentre@gmail.com
Women’s Institute
We are still keeping in touch with members via e-mail and phone. We urge all members to communicate with family and friends as often as possible and use the nbwi e-mail if any help is needed. Some members have joined in a quiz on Zoom and the play reading group will hold their meeting that way also. Others have donated bedding for the making of scrubs bags.

Ukulele Group
A small friendly group suitable for beginners and improvers. Meetings are led by a qualified music teacher and we’re taking place at the Community Life Centre in the precinct on Wednesday evenings. Sessions have been suspended during the current situation, but we anticipate they will resume later. You do not need your own instrument as an instrument can be borrowed from the group. Please e-mail Jan at baddesleyukulele@gmail.com
Yoga for All
We meet on Tuesday morning. There are two classes, one from 9.30 – 11.00 and the other from 11.30 – 13.00. They are suitable for all abilities. We cannot meet at present, but we keep in touch on WhatsApp and by e-mail.
